Privacy Notice

As Yamaç Teker A.Ş. (“Company”), acting as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we process the personal data obtained through the yamac.com.tr website and the channels through which you contact us within the framework described below.

2. Personal data processed
- Identity: name and surname.
- Contact: e-mail address, phone / WhatsApp number.
- Customer transaction: company name, website, products and quantities in your quote list, contents of your requests and messages, the description, quantity information and files (technical drawings, 3D models, photos etc.) you share in custom manufacturing requests, and the quotes sent to you.
- Transaction security: an irreversibly hashed form of your IP address, form submission time and the result of the bot-protection check.
- Marketing / analytics (only with your consent): statistical data on website usage and advertising interaction collected through cookies.
Please do not enter special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometric data etc.) in the forms; such data is not intended to be processed.
3. Purposes of processing
- Evaluating your quote and custom manufacturing requests, preparing quotes and sending them through the channel you choose (e-mail or WhatsApp),
- Answering your questions sent via the contact form and other channels,
- Concluding and performing the contract and carrying out after-sales processes if a quote turns into an order,
- Ensuring website security and preventing spam and misuse,
- Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from authorised bodies,
- With your consent, measuring and improving the use of the website and measuring the effect of our advertising.
4. Legal grounds and method of collection
Your personal data is collected electronically through the website forms, e-mail, phone and WhatsApp correspondence and cookies, and is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- (c) it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (preparing and sending a quote),
- (ç) it is necessary for the data controller to comply with its legal obligations,
- (e) it is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
- (f) it is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (replying to your request, website security).
Analytics and advertising cookies are used only on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 5(1) of the KVKK; you can withdraw your consent at any time.
5. Transfer of personal data
Limited to the purposes above and to the extent necessary, your personal data may be transferred to:
- the hosting provider of the website (Türkiye),
- our e-mail service providers (Microsoft 365 and the delivery service used for transactional e-mails),
- the bot-protection and domain security provider (Cloudflare),
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose the WhatsApp channel,
- the analytics and advertising provider (Google), if you give consent,
- authorised public institutions and organisations upon request.
As some of these providers have servers abroad, such transfers are carried out in accordance with the procedures and principles set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.
6. Retention period
Requests and attachments submitted through the forms are kept for 2 years for the completion of the request and possible disputes, and are then deleted or anonymised. If a quote turns into an order, the related commercial records are kept for the periods required by the Turkish Commercial Code and tax legislation.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it is processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred, to request its correction if processed incompletely or incorrectly, to request its deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK, to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred, to object to a result against you arising from analysis exclusively by automated systems, and to claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
8. Applications
You can send requests regarding your rights in writing, together with information identifying you, to our address above or to [email protected], in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller. Your application will be answered free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.
9. Cookie policy
The following cookies and browser storage are used on our website:
- Strictly necessary (no consent required): storage of your quote list, your unit preference (mm·kg / in·lb) and your cookie choice in your browser; the admin panel session. These are kept only in your browser and are needed for the website to work.
- Security: the verification service providing bot protection in forms (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- Analytics and advertising (only with your consent): Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies, used to measure visit statistics and the effect of our advertising. If you do not consent, these cookies are not loaded at all.
