HISTORY
Milestones of 72 years
- 1954First stepThe late Orhan Yamaç and his partner started making and selling industrial casters at the Perşembe Pazarı market in Karaköy, Istanbul.
- 1966DemirkapıWith growing sales, the workshop moved to a 450 m² site in Demirkapı, Istanbul.
- 1972Yamaç is foundedWith the second generation joining, the Yamaç brand was born.
- 1978Furniture castersLight furniture casters were added to the industrial range; output doubled.
- 1981Joint-stock companyThe company became a joint-stock company (A.Ş.).
- 1983Izmir International FairFirst participation in the Izmir International Fair, followed by ten consecutive years.
- 1990PerpaRetail sales were handed over to a dealer network and the head office moved to the Perpa Trade Center.
- 1996GebzeCapacity was increased on a 3,000 m² covered site in Gebze, Kocaeli.
- 2002ISO 9001The first company in its sector to receive ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
- 2009Third generationWith the third generation, all processes began to be managed with an ERP system.
- 2012ExportExports reached 25% of the business, with a focus on working for major companies abroad.
